Enrichment Classes

Enrichment Classes: Beginning students will be introduced to a variety of ways to recognize musical symbols, listening and pre-music reading and rhythmic skills. Teachers may decide at their discretion to utilize their own curriculum based on a teacher's goals for each student. (Musicianship classes are included within group classes the first two years of playing)

Intermediate and advanced students will explore more advanced rhythmic and listening skills including note reading. Students will also explore music theory at an age appropriate level. (fundamentals of music)  Students will be introduced to a variety of compositional styles and historical time periods. (Intermediate and advanced classes are offered after completion of two years of group classes at the beginning level and is no longer included in group classes)
